As a graduate researcher at Columbia University, I examined the educational impact of incorporating active science research projects into the classroom experience.
This research focused primarily around citizen science and the opportunities it provides students to act as participants in and contributors to ongoing research projects. For my thesis, I developed curriculum and professional development resources and delivered these to teachers across a network of New York City public schools.
